Through the Keyhole


The leading edge of a storm rolls in over the flanks of Mt. Evans, one of the Colorado 14ers.  We failed in our attempt to race it back to the car, but at least we were off the ridge by the time it broke in earnest.

  1. I can almost feel that ice-water pouring down my back into my shorts as we crouched under that rock face. And feel the sucking of that calf-deep mud on my boots as we slogged the runoff. And here you asking to go near the very dangerous moose.
